Ihedioha to unveil Ilechukwu as Heartland coach after agreeing personal terms

Heartland has hooked Fidelis Ilechukwu after the coach agreed to personal terms to become the handler of the Naze Millionaires for the coming season.

 

Ilechukwu by this has brought an end to his 13 years association with MFM, a club he led from a non-league side to the CAF Champions League.
Ilechukwu and the top officials of Heartland met at Protea Hotel, Owerri including the chairman of the board, Charles Ezekwem and General Manager of the club, Ifeanyi Chukwu who were recently at loggerheads before they were reconciled by the Imo State Governor, Emeka Ihedioha.
Ilechukwu is to be unveiled as the new coach of Heartland at the Government House, Owerri by Ihedioha.
The Governor was called by the Chairman of the board, Ezekwem who briefed him on the negotiation with the former MFM manager and the Governor informed that he would like Ilechukwu to be unveiled by him along with the top officials of the club on Monday morning.
The salary and the other terms of the contract were undisclosed.
Ilechukwu told SportingLife after the negotiation and he confirmed that he had agreed in principle with Heartland and that he has come to work to take Heartland to the next level.
“We have agreed and I am satisfied with everything. I am glad to be here and I am ready to work,” Ilechukwu told SportingLife.
