Inter Miami target Man Utd keeper Romero

Manchester United goalkeeper, Sergio Romero, is a target for Inter Miami.

The Argentine, 33, wanted to force through an exit in the summer when Dean Henderson came back to Old Trafford and bumped him down to the third choice.

The Athletic reports David Beckham’s MLS side are exploring the option of landing the stopper.

The new season is planning to start on schedule in early March as things stand.

However, salary caps in the American league could cause problems.

Romero is thought to be on around £100,000 per week and that may be too much for Inter Miami to stump up.

The report adds that an unnamed Spanish club want to take the World Cup runner-up on loan for the remainder of the season.
