Inter target Koulibaly receives Saudi offer via Chelsea

Inter’s hopes of bringing Kalidou Koulibaly back to Serie A on loan are likely to be dashed after Al-Hilal made a huge offer to Chelsea.

The Nerazzurri had hoped to make the most of a difficult first season in the Premier League by tempting the former Napoli defender into a loan move.

However, Chelsea are already irritated at the request to renew the Romelu Lukaku loan at cheaper conditions, let alone adding Koulibaly into the mix.

Now Foot Mercato claim that Al-Hilal have made a big proposal to purchase Senegal international Koulibaly this summer.

Saudi clubs are flooding the transfer market with vast salaries, having tempted Cristiano Ronaldo to Al-Nassr and Real Madrid hitman Karim Benzema to Al-Ittihad.

Chelsea need to raise funds after a spending spree under new owner Todd Boehly failed to provide results and saw them missing out on European qualification.

N’Golo Kante is also said to be on the verge of a free transfer to Al-Ittihad.
