Iwobi, Chukwueze know Europa opponents in round of 16

Nigeria international, Alex Iwobi should be in contention against French side, Rennes who have been drawn against Arsenal in the round of 16 of the UEFA Europa League which gets underway next month.

Arsenal qualified for the next round after seeing off BATE Borisov 3-0 at the Emirates on Thursday night with Iwobi playing the entire 90 minutes.

The draw which was conducted today in Nyon, Switzerland would see Arsenal welcome Rennes at the Emirates on March 7 with the return leg due in a week’s time at Raazhon Park in France.

In the case of Samuel Chukwueze who plays for La Liga side Villarreal, they head to Russia to face Zenit Saint Petersburg who defeated Fenerbahce who have Victor Moses on their books to reach this stage.

The first leg comes up on March 7, and the second in Spain on March 14.

Tyronne Ebuehi has been left out of the Benfica squad that will tackle Dinamo Zagreb on March 7 in the first leg.
