Super Eagles forward Alex Iwobi was all smiles as Arsenal finished the football season on a winning note in the English Premier League on Sunday.

Gabonese striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang netted the only goal against Huddersfield in the 38th minute. It was the Gunners first away points in 2018 and also Wenger’s last match in charge after 22 years.

“Good To End The Season With A Win! Emotional Knowing It’s The Boss’s Last Match, Was Only Right It Was A Win. Love To Our Fans For All Your Support This Season ❤,” Iwobi tweeted after the game.

Iwobi was on for 72 minutes before he was replaced by Maitland -Niles.

The 22-year-old Nigerian made 26 league appearances and scored three times this season.

A disappointing campaign for the Gunners who finished sixth on the table to qualify for the Europa league next season along with Chelsea.
