Iwobi mocks Smith after Europa League win

Super Eagles forward Alex Iwobi has mocked youngster and Arsenal teammate Emile Smith Rowe on Instagram.

Iwobi posted a hilarious video from the Arsenal dressing room on Thursday.

In the video, the Nigerian midfielder called the 18-year-old who scored his first senior goal in the 3-0 win over Qarabag in the Europa Cup ‘cute’

‘A man scored on his first Europa League start, look at him. So cute,’ Iwobi was heard saying.
The teenager cut an embarrassed figure as Iwobi set him up in front of the camera.
Smith Rowe – aged 18 and 67 days old – became the youngest player to score for the Gunners in a competitive match since Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain in September 2011.

His 53rd minute goal – his first in senior colours – doubled Arsenal’s advantage in Baku after Sokratis Papastathopoulo had given them an early lead.

Guendouzi then put the icing on the cake late on as Unai Emery’s men made it two wins from two in Group E.

And speaking after the game, Smith Rowe revealed his delight at a perfect night at the office.
‘It feels good to have got my first goal today, and the three points as well,’ he told Arsenal’s official website. ‘It’s
just a dream come true really!

‘I feel at home in this team. I train with them every day and everyone’s so welcoming. I’m just happy to be here.’

After getting off the mark for his boyhood club on Thursday, Smith Rowe will no doubt hope to push on and feature in

Sunday’s London derby away to Fulham.
