The 23 year-old was named Gernot Rohr’s 23-man team ahead of the friendly against Ukraine in September 10.
Born in London, Aribo is seen as an ideal candidate to replace Chelsea legend and former Eagles captain Obi Mikel who called time on his international career last month.
Aribo , who moved to Scotland this summer on a free transfer after leaving Charlton Athletic, has settled in quickly at Ibrox, making an instant impact in the league and in the Europa League qualifiers, scoring three goals in his first seven games.
He said: “I am very happy, it is a dream come true to receive the call-up.
“My agent was the first person to inform me that I was invited to the Super Eagles. I had spoken to one of the assistant coaches in the team before the invitation.”
The high profile friendly at the Dnipro Arena, Kyiv, will be Super Eagles’ first game since they beat the Carthage Eagles of Tunisia 1-0 to win the bronze medal at the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) in Egypt.
