Anthony Joshua has pledged 2,000 pieces of Under Armour product to NHS workers at the Watford General Hospital, where the world heavyweight champion was born.

Joshua last week thanked Captain Tom Moore for his efforts in raising £29million for the NHS.

NHS workers have been praised as heroes over the last few weeks.

Tyson Fury donated free energy drinks to NHS workers in Manchester, while Dillian Whyte is taking part in a charity FIFA tournament to raise money.

Light-heavyweight Callum Johnson also raised funds by flipping a tyre for four miles last week.

“I was born in Watford General Hospital,” he said on his Twitter page.

“For those that know me, and for those who are associates of mine, will know that Watford will forever run through my veins.

“So I saw that Under Armour have been doing some great things globally, supporting key workers during this pandemic.
