Joshua Spends N.2M on Facial Care ahead Fight in America

Anthony Joshua is not holding back to spend staggering amount on facial treatment as he takes steps to ensure he looks compact ahead of his debut in the United States against Jarrell Miller.

Reports revealed that the Nigerian-British professional boxer spent £400 about (#200,000: 00k) for the first stage of his skincare procedure with a celebrity beautician.

The 29-year-old heads Stateside to fight Miller at Madison Square Garden on June 1 and ahead of that bout Joshua was filmed on the Instagram account of celebrity beautician Shane Cooper, who said he carried out his signature bespoke facial on the heavyweight boxer.

Joshua has reportedly already booked a follow-up appointment after liking the results.

And according to The Sun, Joshua was so impressed by the results he has already booked a return visit.

The procedure combs off layers of dead skin from the patient’s face and hydrates it below the surface.

Joshua announced last week that he is heading to New York to defend his WBA Super, IBF, WBO and IBO crowns against Miller.

Upon the fight being announced, Joshua said: ‘June 1 I’ll be travelling to MSG. New York City, the Big Apple.

‘I’m there to take a bite out of that and I’ll be competing against Jarrell Miller.

‘Wembley is so close to my heart, it’s a great spot, a great location. I’ve fought in small halls, I’ve fought in arenas. And it’s been a humbling and a blessing to fight in those stadiums.

‘But now it’s time for a change. The current state of the division was the undisputed championship of the world.’
