JUST IN: Super Falcons book ticket to World cup down Cameroon
Super Falcons have cruised into the semifinals of the ongoing WAFCON in Morocco. The Randy Waldrum tutored side beat their Cameroonian counterparts by a lone goal to achieve the feat. Falcons who are chasing their 10th title of the continental diadem began the campaign on a shaky not against South Africa, bounce back against Botswana and Burundi before sealing a semi final against Cameroon today in Casablanca
Ajibade’s all important goal came in the 56th minute. All four teams in the semifinals of the tournament proceed to the world cup to hosted by New Zealand and Australia.
The Falcons will face hosts Morocco in one of the semifinals on July 18 in what promises to be a cracker considering that the homers will be having massive support.
Zambia and Morocco have earlier picked two tickets to the world Cup with Nigeria picking the third one. The last ticket will be decided between South Africa and Tunisia who are currently slugging it out in their ongoing clash.
