Kane mobbed by fans for selfies after debut goal

Harry Kane was mobbed by fans for selfies after scoring on his Bundesliga debut for Bayern Munich on Friday night.

The England striker ended a long saga over his future last week after joining German giants from Tottenham in a £100m deal.

Kane marked his first league game for Bayern with a goal and an assist as they beat Werder Bremen 4-0.

The 30-year-old was then stopped by several fans who wanted to take pictures with him after the game.

Kane complied and was happy to pose as he headed to the airport to return to Munich.

The former Tottenham striker helped Bayern take the lead early on by sending the ball past Leroy Sane, who raced to goal before finishing calmly.

In the second half, Kane scored his first goal for the club with a low finish inside the box before being substituted shortly after.

Sane netted his second goal of the game in the 90th minute before substitute Mathys Tel ensured Bayern started their Bundesliga title defense in style.

Talk to sky sports after the match, Kane opened up about his dream debut: “It was fantastic. There was a lot of discussion and elaboration of this game. It started well with the goal from the start. It was hard.

“We created good chances but we didn’t have the final product.

“We stayed calm, managed to score the second goal and the boys finished it on the bench. It was the perfect start, I’m looking forward to the next game.

Kane will make his league debut on home soil for Bayern next Sunday against Augsburg at the Allianz Arena.
