Koulibaly not ready to leave Napoli

Kalidou Koulibaly is increasingly likely to remain at Napoli, as Manchester City and PSG will not raise their offers to meet the €70m asking price.

According to Calciomercato.com and Sportitalia, President Aurelio De Laurentiis has set the absolute minimum fee at €70m without bonuses.

That is proving to be beyond the expectations of Manchester City and PSG, who are instead turning towards other targets.

City are believed to have agreed personal terms with Jules Kounde, even though Sevilla so far rejected the offer.

Talks continue and he is now their number one candidate to reinforce the defence.

Meanwhile, it is pointed out that Koulibaly is perfectly happy to remain at Napoli and has no intention of pushing for an exit.

Coach Gennaro Gattuso confirmed the same when speaking after a 2-0 win over Parma on Sunday.

“Egotistically speaking, I’d love it if Koulibaly were to stay in the squad.”
