KSI to dorn world’s most expensive mouthguard in Fury bout

KSI will take to the ring for his hotly anticipated clash with Tommy Fury sporting the ‘world’s most expensive mouthguard’.

The social media stars will go head-to-head in a main event at the AO Arena in Manchester on Saturday night.

The professional boxer Fury is the favourite and is coming off a split-decision win  against Jake Paul earlier this year. While KSI saw his May TKO victory over Joe Fournier overturned, with the result changed to a ‘no decision’ following a post-fight review

Ever the showman, the 30-year-old has decided to make a flashy entrace to the mouth-watering event and has invested in a costly accessory.

According to TalkSport’s Michael Benson, KSI’s diamond encrusted, 24 carat gold leaf mouthguard is the most expensive in the world, valued at £40,000.

Fans will get their first glimpse of the piece when the boxers walk to the ring at around 10pm, though that will depend on results beforehand.

Saturday’s main card is set to get underway at 7pm and features WWE star Logan Paul’s return to the boxing ring against Dillon Danis.

KSI’s professional record currently stands at 5-0-1 (4 KOs), while Fury has claimed victory in all nine of his fights with four ending by knockout.

Born Olajide Olayinka Williams “JJ” Olatunji (born 19 June 1993), known professionally as KSI, is a Nigeria born  English influencer, musician and professional boxer. He is the CEO of Misfits Boxing and the co-owner of Prime Hydration, XIX Vodka and a restaurant chain known as Sides.

His Dad, Olajide Olatunji Sr. was born in Ibadan, Nigeria. His mother, Yinka Olatunji (née Atinuke), is from Islington, London. He was educated at Berkhamsted School in Berkhamsted, where he met future collaborator and Sidemen member Simon Minter

KSI’s younger brother, Deji Olatunji, is also a YouTuber and professional boxer. The brothers ranked first and second respectively as the “UK’s Most Influential YouTube Creators” by Tubular Labs in 2015.
