Kwara United appeal N6m fine

Kwara United have appealed the fine imposed on the club by the Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL.

The Harmony Boys were fined N6 million for the disruption of the live broadcast of their matchday 31 fixture against Akwa United last weekend.

“We have already appealed the fine by the NPFL,” Kwara United media officer, Jimoh Bashir stated.

“We await response from the league body.”

Kwara United were also charged for allegedly providing false information which led to the adjustment of the date for their clash against Bayelsa United.
