Sergio Aguero is delighted to be available for Barcelona.
After making his debut in victory over Valencia on Sunday, Aguero is in the squad for Wednesday night’s Champions League clash with Dynamo Kyiv.
The Argentine said at today’s Champions League presser: “I am very happy to be back on the field and to have a few minutes in the Champions League. The most important thing is that I felt good the other day and it was a beautiful night, especially because we also won.
“I did not expect that reception and I am grateful; now I have to demonstrate on the pitch to return that affection.”
Aguero also discussed Ansu Fati and the youngster taking the No10 shirt vacated by Leo Messi.
“It is the number that I used during the U-20 World Cup in Holland and also in the national team. Leo had 10 but when Piqué and more people from the club told me about 10, I had already asked for 19. Also, the 10 fits Ansu quite well. He came back eager, he is young and has a talent that we should be grateful that we have.”
He also said of Ansu: “You have to help him continue to grow because it is very difficult to stay at a high level. We veterans are here to support him. You can tell that he has a talent of those who do not come out often and you have to take advantage of it.”
