La Liga: Etebo sees yellow in Getafe loss, Azeez benched

Nigeria international, Oghenekaro Etebo was booked in Getafe’s away match which they lost 2-1 to Granada at the Estadio Nuevo Los Carmenes on Friday night.

The midfielder was penalised for pushing Yangel Herrera in the 61st minute after David Timor Copovi had given the visitors the lead in the 20th minute.

But in a space of nine minutes, the host team struck twice precisely in the 70th and 79th minutes to secure victory following the resumption of the La Liga which was put on hold due to the COVID-19.

It was a match that produced 10 yellow cards with Granada receiving six from centre referee, David Medie.

Unlike Etebo who saw action, fellow compatriot, Ramon Azeez was on the bench for Granada.
