Jordi Cruyff has explained leaving his job as Barcelona technical director.
Jordi chose to leave Barca at the end of last season.
He explained to The Athletic: “Now I want to go back to coaching, as it was before Barcelona. Last year, Barcelona offered me a longer contract, but I chose a shorter one because I felt like I was going to be a coach again.

“It wasn’t a decision I made in a hurry, it was something I thought about for months. This is what I want to do now. It doesn’t mean I won’t I want to be sporting director more, I’m prepared for both roles, but right now I prefer to go back to training.
“I’ve looked at different options and it’s just a matter of choosing what feels right to me.”
