Real Madrid attacker Vinicius Jr was happy to score in their 3-1 win against Espanyol.

Espanyol made Real work hard for the three points.

Vinicius Jr said: “We were calm enough to come back from a goal down. Whenever we get into a situation like this, we come out of it very comfortably. I’d like to win games more easily, but that’s the way it is and we have to keep working to achieve great things this season. Thanks to the fans for coming out in such numbers.

“I’m very happy with the fans, the coach and for playing for the greatest team in the world, I’m very fortunate. I have to keep on working and improving to help all these people who love me so much.

“It’s a move that I practice a lot, but in matches it’s always a bit more difficult because there are a lot of players marking me. Today I did well and I’m very happy.”
