LaLiga: Real Madrid Players upset after Osasuna draw, says Ancelotti

Real Madrid’s 100 per cent record is over after their 1-1 draw with Osasuna.

Kike Garca canceled out Vini Jr’s opener for Real Madrid. David Garcia was sent off in the second-half.

Real coach Carlo Ancelotti said, “It wasn’t a good game. We lacked intensity in the first half with and without the ball. The defensive line didn’t press enough. It was better in the second half, after the equaliser, in terms of intensity. I made the changes to freshen things up.

“The goal we conceded came from a pass from the centre of the pitch and they had a few counter-attacks but they weren’t very dangerous. We didn’t play at a very intense pace, but the game was under control and we deserved to win. We put in crosses when we had the extra man, but they were comfortable with that. There wasn’t any room for anything else. The game could have been won with the penalty. A very positive run comes to an end and hopefully we can start another positive run now.

“This team is upset when it doesn’t win. We’re not happy and that’s the reason why this side won a lot last year. We’re not happy with the draw and we will react soon.”
