Lampard favourite to become next Leeds United manager

Former Chelsea boss, Frank Lampard, has been tipped to take over from Marcelo Bielsa at Leeds United.

Leeds United boss Marcelo Bielsa has come under increased pressure in the past week after his side suffered three successive losses for the first time this season.

The Whites were narrowly beaten 3-2 by Chelsea, before they lost 7-0 at Manchester City and fell to a 4-1 defeat against Arsenal, which leaves them in 15th, just five points above the relegation zone.

However, Norwich City, Watford, Southampton and Burnley, who all sit below Leeds in the Premier League table, have at least one game in hand after their recent matches were postponed due to Covid-19.

It has been a worrying last few weeks for the Whites, but they have had a number of injuries and were without the likes of Kalvin Phillips, Patrick Bamford and Liam Cooper for the game against the Gunners.

That has been a common theme all season and Bielsa will be hoping to get as many of his key players back for the trip to Liverpool on Boxing Day.
