Lampard ready to dump Azpilicueta as captain for Thiago 

There are indications that Chelsea manager, Frank Lampard, may opt for Thiago Silva in place of Cesar Azpilicueta as his new captain ahead of the new season.

Thiago is expected to move to the Stamford Bridge side in the coming days after playing his last game for PSG in the Champions League loss to Bayern Munich last Sunday.

According to Globo Sports, the decision is likely not to go down with the rest of the squad who have become comfortable with Azpilicueta.
