Lautaro to snub Man City for Barcelona dream

According to Spanish newspaper AS, Inter forward Lautaro Martinez is prepared to reject Manchester City and wait a year to make his Barcelona dream come true.

The Argentina international has a release clause worth €111m in his contract, but the date for that has already passed for this year.

It means any club will have to negotiate directly with Inter, which opened the door for Manchester City.

However, AS are confident it’s Barcelona or nothing for Lautaro, as the striker has his heart set on a move to Camp Nou with Lionel Messi.

Therefore, any interest from Manchester City or other top European clubs will be rejected out of hand by the player.

Inter have repeatedly stated that Lautaro has not asked to leave, so pending a dramatic turnaround, he is staying at San Siro for the time being.
