Lazio launched their new private plane during the international break but according to reports in Italy the Biancocelesti had to return home from Crotone with a regular flight.

Lazio travelled to Crotone on their new private plane but the first trip of the Boeing 737 was one to forget.

As La Gazzetta dello Sport reports, the severe weather conditions around Crotone and Calabria affected Lazio’s trip to Calabria.

“We all arrived with fear on us, apart from [Igli] Tare, [Francesco] Acerbi and [Marco]Parolo,” Ciro Immobile said after the game against Crotone.

“Parolo is completely crazy, he has fun on the plane like he is on the rides. When we landed I asked [my teammates] why they had not made a video to me, perhaps because they didn’t have a good time too.”

The return trip was problematic too.

Because of weather, Crotone’s Sant’Anna airport was closed with Lazio that had to reach Lamezia Terme by bus, going back to Rome with a regular flight.
