Leicester City make their Europe trip easier

Leicester City gave their hopes of qualifying for the Champions League a huge boost by beating Manchester United.

Leicester ran out 2-1 winners against United in Tuesday night’s Premier League clash at Old Trafford.

Luke Thomas put the Foxes ahead early on with his first Premier League goal but Mason Greenwood soon levelled for the home side.

But City hit back and Caglar Soyuncu headed a second-half winner for Brendan Rodgers’ men as they bounced back from a shock 4-2 home defeat to Newcastle.

The result saw Manchester City crowned champions and lifted Leicester back up to third in the table, with two league fixtures remaining.
