Leicester City have placed a price tag of £20m on Nigeria international Ahmed Musa for clubs that are interested in having him for the new season.

Leicester who confined Musa to the bench before sending him out on loan to CSKA Moscow last season appeared to have renewed their interest in the player who became the toast of fans at the FIFA World Cup in Russia.

This was as a result of the two brilliant goals he scored for the Eagles against Iceland in the group stage which earned him the Man of the Match Award.  It was Nigeria’s only win of the tournament after losing to Croatia and Argentina.

The 25-year-old who is known for his philanthropy also made history by becoming the first Leicester player to ever score in the World Cup.

It is however left to be seen if the amount will scare Musa’s suitors especially Galatassary who have been trying to lure him to Turkey.

The former Kano Pillars forward who told the media after the Iceland game that he will decide on his Leicester future in a fortnight is expected to meet with the club’s hierarchy next week.
