England star wins Premier League best player for October
Leicester City striker Jamie Vardy has been named the EA Sports Premier League player for the month of October.

The England international is presently the league’s top scorer with 10 goals in 11 league appearances.
City currently sit third in the table and just two points behind Premier League holders and current second place team Manchester City.
“It’s great to win the award but it just shows what the team have been doing as well,” he told premierleague.com .
“We’ve been putting good performances in and fortunately for me I have been getting the chances and putting them away.”

The player of the month award is Vardy’s fourth in the Premier League of his career, moving him level with Dennis Bergkamp, Thierry Henry, Frank Lampard, Cristiano Ronalo, Paul Scholes and Alan Shearer.
