Liverpool boss Klopp calm over van Dijk head injury

Liverpool boss, Jurgen Klopp, was calm about the nasty head injury suffered by Virgil van Dijk against RB Salzburg on Tuesday.

The centre-back was forced off in the 55th minute of the 2-2 draw.

But Klopp doesn’t think the injury is too serious.

“Virg only looks like he has a piercing now and has a plaster on it. It should not be, and is, no problem,” the German told the club’s website.

“In the moment it is of course not cool but there will not be a problem.”
