Liverpool monitoring Anderlecht youngster Jeremy Doku

Liverpool are reported to be among several Premier League clubs that are interested in Anderlecht’s teenage prodigy Jeremy Doku.

Belgian newspaper Het Nieuwsblad claims he plans to continue with the Jupiler Pro League side until the end of next season and that the Reds are the current frontrunners to sign him in the summer of 2021.

Doku has shone, scoring three goals and providing four assists in the league this campaign.

It’s believed that the champions-elect in England have been following his progress for a while.

According to his parents, Jurgen Klopp tried to get him to come to Anfield after suggesting he could become Sadio Mane’s successor.

However, the 17-year-old committed his future to Anderlecht in February, signing a new contract that will keep him at the club until 2022.
