Madrid fans tear into Isco for ‘disrespecting’ Zinedine

Isco certainly isn’t the flavour of the month at Real Madrid and he didn’t improve his standing during Tuesday night’s 2-0 win over Getafe.
The 28-year-old is often confined to the substitutes bench under manager Zinedine Zidane and that was the case once more during their midweek LaLiga clash.
However, his antics along the touchline have angered many fans after it took him a minute and 20 seconds to begin a warm-up as he fixed his hair into a ponytail.
Footage has emerged of the incident in the second half as the playmaker was summoned off the bench to get loose.
Walking with a coach, Isco can be seen taking off his woolly hat before pouring some water on his hands to wet his hair multiple times while the coach watches on.
As the coach discusses their drills, Isco can still be seen taking his time as he dawdles putting tying his long hair into a ponytail.
Eventually he was ready and later he came on as a 76th-minute substitute replacing Marco Asensio.
However, his actions beforehand have not gone unnoticed to many fans who blasted him on Twitter.
‘What a shame, many would die to play five minutes for Madrid I hope you leave soon,’ wrote one user.
‘I will never understand how a professional is not prepared to go out to warm up to play.’ blasted another. ‘It is a lack of respect for the club and for the team-mates,’ they continued during their rant.
One user wrote: ‘Above all it is an absolute lack of respect for the physical trainer who is waiting for the young man to comb his hair. Shame.’

Someone else echoed those views writing: ‘It’s a great shame. As a Madridista your blood boils. I do not understand how he has been able to decline so much to the point of walking through the field. He is 28- years-old, 28! And he seems to be 40. Physically out of shape and on top of that he has ugly hair.’
One person on social media accused Isco of a lack of professionalism dating back to Santiago Solari’s reign as Real boss during the 2018-19 season.
