Man City attacker grateful to teammates for rehab support

Manchester City attacker Leroy Sane is grateful to his teammates for their support as he worked his way back from knee surgery.

Sane was on the brink of a comeback before the coronavirus shut down, having been out since damaging his cruciate in August’s Community Shield.

He said: “The whole team supported me, of course.

“But I was especially talking to (Ilkay) Gundogan and (Benjamin) Mendy about the injury, what they did, what could happen and their experience with everything.

“It helped me a lot to know how certain stuff feels and what can happen.
