Man Utd teenager Zidane Iqbal set to be called up by Iraq

Manchester United teenager, Zidane Iqbal, is set to get his first call up to the Iraqi national side.

The teenager is being handed his international duty against Iran away from home next week.

That is according to Sky Sports News, who suggests that Iraqi chiefs want Iqbal to play for them as soon as possible, so he is committed to Iraq as his national team.

He has previously represented the nation at the Under-23 level, even captaining the side.

The 18-year-old, Manchester-born midfielder can play for England, Iraq, or Pakistan based on his birth and family history.
