Manchester United midfielder Pogba floored by PSG Messi move

Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba has been left frustrated in his hopes of signing for PSG.

Pogba, now inside the final year of his contract at United, was hoping of returning to Paris this summer and had held talks with PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi, according to Le Parisien.

But with Al-Khelaifi now focusing on a deal for released Barcelona star Lionel Messi, talks for Pogba have dried up.

As such, the midfielder appears set to remain with United for the new season and run down his contract.

PSG, meanwhile, remain keen on Pogba and would happy to take him in a Bosman deal next summer.
