Martial forgets match ball after Sheffield United hat-trick

Anthony Martial forgot to claim the match ball after firing his first-ever senior hat-trick for Manchester United to secure a 3-0 win over Sheffield United.

Yet despite his achievements, Martial forgot to collect what was his at full-time.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer had taken the striker off late in the second half, therefore he watched the final ten minutes from the bench.

He joined his fellow substitutes in walking down the Old Trafford touchline back to the dressing room after the win.

Yet a female member of staff quickly reminded him to claim the match ball.

He then walked over to the referee, who rolled him the ball.

Martial then picked it up and gave it a kiss before being congratulated by Chris Wilder.
