Walter Mazzarri thanked fans after they voted him the best Napoli coach of the last 10 years. ‘I’m glad I left good memories.’
The tactician was at the Stadio San Paolo from October 2009 to May 2013, winning the Coppa Italia in 2012, finishing third in Serie A in 2011 and second in 2013.
Mazzarri topped the vote set by Radio Kiss Kiss to find the best Napoli coach of the last decade.

“Thank you to the Neapolitans for having chosen me as their best coach over the last 10 years,” Mazzarri told the radio station.
“I’m glad I left good memories and we achieved some great things together. Napoli remains in my heart.”
Mazzarri had over 50 per cent of the vote, beating other candidates Rafa Benitez, Maurizio Sarri, Carlo Ancelotti and Gennaro Gattuso.
