Melo wants Ibrahimovic at Palmeiras before he retires
Felipe Melo has expressed his desire for Zlatan Ibrahimovic to come to compete in the Copa Libertadores.
Melo, who is currently captain of Palmeiras in Brazil, played against the Swede during their time together in Italy.
“He appreciates me, although we’re not friends,” Melo told Canal Allianz Parque about Ibrahimovic.
“I sent him a message telling him to come to our club, but I’m still waiting for a reply.”

Ibrahimovic, who returned to AC Milan in January, has been training with Hammarby – the Swedish club he recently bought a 25 percent stake in – during the coronavirus pandemic.
“Not even I know what I want,” the 38-year-old striker said recently.
