Messi: Lautaro a very complete forward

Barcelona captain, Lionel Messi, has again admitted his admiration for Inter Milan striker Lautaro Martinez.

Barca are locked in talks with Inter to sign the Argentina international.

While admitting he’s a fan of his Argentina teammate, Messi says he has no influence on Barca’s signing plans.

He told Mundo Deportivo: “If I am honest I do not know very well if there were or are negotiations right now for him, I have no idea.

“I think I already mentioned it, that Lautaro is an impressive striker, especially because I think he is a very complete forward: he is strong, he dribbles well, he has a goal, he knows how to protect the ball.

“But well, we will have to see what happens finally with him and with other names that are said.”
