Mikel Obi returns to Stamford Bridge for charity match

Chelsea and Nigerian legend John Mikel Obi has announced that he will be on the World IX team set to take on England in Soccer Aid for UNICEF’s charity match.

Super Eagles legend John Mikel Obi is set for a sensational return to Stamford Bridge, as he was named in the lineup for the coming Soccer Aid clash.

The 37-year-old called Stamford Bridge home from 2006 till 2017, cementing himself as a Blues legend. He has since called time on his illustrious career, and he is now a football personality, dabbling in several off-pitch activities, including hosting a podcast and making guest appearances at award shows.
