Mosimane, though keeping his options open, has made it clear that a return to Africa is not his current priority.

“I don’t know. I’ll ask my agent. My agent has never informed me about Kaizer Chiefs. She has mentioned a few things at this point,” the former Mamelodi Sundowns and Al Ahly (Egypt) mentor revealed in a recent interview with PowerFM.

“Coming back to Africa isn’t easy. Sometimes, you strive to win trophies and conquer the Champions League with another team. I’ve always aspired to achieve success in North Africa, particularly in Morocco.”

As Mosimane gears up for crucial discussions with Al Ahli management in the upcoming weeks, the future of Mosimane who recently celebrated his 19th trophy, remains in limbo.
