Mourinho reacts on Emery’s sack by Arsenal

Jose Mourinho wouldn’t give a clear answer when he was asked if he would’ve taken the Arsenal job if he was offered it before taking over at Tottenham.

With Jose Mourinho recently becoming the new Manager of Tottenham, the Special One was rumoured to be one of a few Managers interested in the role.

Unai Emery was sacked Friday, November 29, from Arsenal after 18 months in charge. The Spaniard had been at the helm for Arsenal’s longest winless run since 1992.

In Mourinho’s pre-match press conference today for their weekend match against Bournemouth, Mourinho was asked the question: Jose Mourinho on whether he’d have taken the Arsenal job had it come up before the Spurs one: “No point in telling you. I’m so happy here I cannot think of the possibility of another club. If you put any other club in the world in front of me now I’d say no.”

Mourinho was linked to Real Madrid, Arsenal, PSG, Bayern Munich, and Manchester United again after taking the Tottenham Managerial role, signing a three-and-a-half-year contract that lasts till 2023.
