Musa Part Ways With Turkish Club Sivasspor

Super Eagles captain Ahmed Musa has terminated his contract with Turkish Super Lig club Sivasspor, according to latest  reports.

Musa reportedly informed Sivasspor of his decision to quit the club last December, just before he proceeded to Cote d Ivoire for the 34th AFCON where the Super Eagles finished second best behind the hosts.

Both parties have now agreed to terminate his contract.Sivasspor are reportedly owing the former Leicester and Al Nassr  player six months salary.

The versatile forward is already working on a move to another club in the summer.

Musa joined Sivasspor from another Turkish outfit, Fatih Karagumruk in 2022.

Kano Pillars recently honoured Ahmed Musa.

He made 19 league appearances for the club without a goal to his name.

Musa who recently paid his boyhood club Kano Pillars a visit, was honoured by the club with a special jersey engraved ‘legend’ with some predicting that he might be making another return to the Kano based club.

Ahmed Musa who bagged the national award of Officer of the Order of the Niger (OON) was a major motivator in Super Eagles failed bid to clinch a fourth AFCON title in Cote d Ivoire, despite not playing any of matches of the tournament.  He did not only canvass support for the boys but participated in build up training to all the matches.
