Musa touched by show of love following Mum’s death

Super Eagles vice-captain, Ahmed Musa has expressed his thanks for the support and show of love he got from the public following the death of his mother last week.

Musa’s mother who was ill finally gave up the ghost last week Thursday at a private hospital in Abuja.

“On behalf of my entire family, I just want to say a big thank you to everyone for your love, thoughts and prayers during this hard time. The passing of my mum albeit unexpected, your comforting words, calls, texts, visits have been a great help to my family and I. Thank you so much!🙏🙏,” Musa tweeted on Wednesday.

An indigene of Edo State, Musa’s mum was the second wife to his father who died when the he was a child.

She left behind five children, four girls and Musa who is the only son.
