National Premier League Trophy: Kano Pillars, Immigration, Customs battle for glory

Fifteen teams will slog it out at the National Premier League organised by the Nigeria Volleyball Federation (NVBF)  that will commence today and end December 1 at the Package B of the  Moshood Abiola National Stadium.

NVBF President Musa Nimrod said the competition will be highly competitive because the teams taking part are the best in the country and the players know what they stand to gain by giving their best which will prepare them for continental competitions.

The teams taking part in the League for the male category are Nigeria Customs, Nigeria Police, Nigeria Immigration Service, Kano Pillars, Plateau Rocks, UCEM, Famous Spike and Civil Defence.

Benue Queens, Delta Force, and COAS – Army will battle for honour in the category which also includes Kara Emeralds, Civil Defence, Nigeria Immigration and Nigeria Customs.

As at the time of this report virtually all teams have arrived in the Federal Capital Territory and currently warning up at the indoor Sports Hall of Abuja Stadium.
