Speaking ahead of the clash scheduled for King Power Stadium, the Nigerian international said he has not been able to get the Foxes’ 6-1 loss in his first game against the Mauricio Pochettino side off his head.

“They are really good. They are in form this season and at the moment they are really in form. They’ve got qualities. I have no fear because I know we will do well. There is just something about this game where I know we are going to do well. There is something about this game that I know we are going to do well.

“We are at home and everyone is ready. I think it’s going to be a tough one. It’s never going to be easy but I think we are going to come out well.

“Of course, my first memory of playing Tottenham, we lost 6-1, so that has never left my head. We always try to manage the situation and see, to come out well in the game. For me, it keeps in my memory and I keep reminding myself that we really need to do well and not just me but the team also really need to do well and get points and get something out of it.”

The Super Eagles midfielder believes the home support will play a major role in ensuring victory.
“Of course, you know with the fans, the atmosphere, everyone cheering even sometimes when the game is not going as planned and we are not doing well we can still feel the fans and the chants and everything but I think our home has always been good,” the 21 year old told the club website.
