Ndidi returns against England

Super Eagles midfielder, Wilfred Ndidi will be available for selection against the Three Lions of England in Saturday’s friendly at the Wembley Stadium, head coach, Gernot Rohr has confirmed.

Ndidi copped a thigh injury in one of the concluding fixtures of the English Premier League and he has not trained with his colleagues since camping for the World Cup commenced last Tuesday in Uyo.

Rohr disclosed in an interview with Sportinglife.ng that the Leicester City midfielder has been doing well in his recovery programme and should be fit to return before the match.

“Ndidi has been put through a special test in compliance with his team doctor and the sessions have been going on well,” Rohr revealed.

Ndidi who is one of the 23 players sure of going to Russia watched as the Eagles were forced to a 1-1 draw by Congo DR  in a friendly on Monday in Portharcourt.
