New Italy logo leaked ahead of Adidas switch

A new logo for the Italy national team has been leaked by Footy Headlines ahead of the switch to kit sponsors Adidas.

The version on the website will be more curved rather than pointed at the end, with an outline in Azzurri blue.

The four stars over the top, representing the four World Cup trophies won by Italy, will also be changed from gold to blue.

It is effectively a revamp based on the confirmed new logo for the FIGC, the Italian Football Federation, which was launched late last year.

That was changed to a blue circle with the Italian flag at the top and bottom, and the four stars in blue, according to footballitalia report.

The latest logo has been in place only since 2017, with gold around the blue shield and four gold stars.

The new logo is expected to be launched in 2023, coinciding with the change from Puma to new Italy kit sponsors Adidas.
