Newcastle ready to raid Serie A clubs to assemble new team
Newcastle United’s new owners are ready to make multiple raids on Serie A as they seek to put together their new-look team.
Tuttosport says Italy’s biggest clubs are bracing themselves for offers from Newcastle for their best players. Indeed, sources close to the club’s new owners say they have several big Serie A names on their shopping list.
Federico Chiesa and Matthijs de Ligt of Juventus are on the radar, as are Inter Milan pair Stefan de Vrij and Marcelo Brozovic.

AC Milan midfielder Franck Kessié of AC Milan and striker Dušan Vlahović of Fiorentina are others being discussed inside St James’ Park.
