Neymar’s mansion broken into by man holding bibles
Neymar’s Paris mansion was reportedly broken into this past weekend by a man holding bibles and “spreading the word of God”.
According to L’Equipe, the 29-year-old’s home was invaded by the man hours before Paris Saint-Germain beat Reims 4-0 on Sunday night.
While the Brazilian scored and contributed to his side’s convincing Ligue 1 victory, he might have been forgiven for being slightly distracted as it seems he was at home at the time of the incident.
The intruder reportedly entered his property by scaling the perimeter wall, and was seen “clutching bibles” and “spreading the word of God”.
According to the report and as cited by the Daily Mail, the footballer’s security team responded and the man was detained by police a few miles away from his house.
Neymar recently signed a new four-year contract with the French giants amid rumours linking him with a return to Barcelona, putting an end to speculation that he could seek an exit from the club in the coming transfer window.
