Ngozi Okobi Celebrates wedding Anniversary in Style

It looks like a season of goodies for Super Falcons and Eskiltuna UTD of Sweden midfielder Ngozi Okobi as she celebrated her one year wedding anniversary  on Sunday.

The next level anniversary for  Okobi who marshaled the midfield effectively at the just ended African Women Championship in Ghana is coming just few weeks after the Thomas Dennerby tutored side overcame odds to clinch the continental title for the 9th time.

An elated Okobi took to the social media Monday to dish out her picture with the lucky man both displaying their rings to indicate a signed sealed and delivered love contract.

“It’s been a tough year, but our love is tougher. Thanks for staying so strong through it all. Here’s to us…and to a brighter year ahead.” she said apparently targeting her over three thousand followers on twitter.

Super Falcons were on Saturday draw against hosts France, Korea Republic and Norway in the 2019 Women’s world cup billed for June 7-July 7.

Super Falcons Coach Thomas Dennerby still basking in the euphoria of his first trophy with the team expressed optimism that his girls will rise to the occasion in France.

He however called on the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF)  to ensure that the team enjoyed quality friendly matches ahead of world cup.  The Glass House says it has penciled two tournaments in China and Cyprus as part of the buildup program.

Nigeria will open campaign in France against Norway in Reims on June 8, follow it up with tie against Korea on June 12 in Grenoble, sealing the group matches with a showdown against France in Rennes on June 17.
