Niger, Ghana warm up for Nigeria U17 team

As part of the preparations for the upcoming 2024 U17 WAFU Championship, the Nigerien Football Association has concluded plans to have the Niger U17 team face Ghana in a warm-up game.

Niger is placed in the same group alongside Burkina Faso, Togo, and the defending champions Nigeria. 

The Niger side has been in closed camping in the past few weeks, preparing for the championship.

The friendly game will be played at the Accra Sports Stadium on Thursday.

This will be the last preparatory game for the Black Starlets ahead of the Championship which kick-off on May 15, 2024.

The WAFU Zone B U17 Championship will be used as the qualifying tournament for the 2025 U17 African Cup of Nations.
