Nigeria don’t treat coaches with respect – Rohr

Former Nigeria’s Super Eagles coach, Gernot Rohr has said Nigeria don’t treat coaches with respect.

After spending 5 years as the coach of the Super Eagles, the Franco-German coach was shown the exit door following the poor performance of the team.

Rohr while speaking to ESPN frowned at the way Nigeria treat their coaches.

” They know me in Africa and Europe for a long time that I’m part of these people who can never be corrupted.

“My reputation is there. To take one player to help him in some clubs is something we did, but only in the interest of Nigerian football, only to help the players, and never for money.

“I’m surprised to see how Nigeria treats their coach. It’s not only for me, it’s also for other coaches. We’re not paid and were sacked,” he said.
